Dear Members of the SAME Boston Post!
I am truly honored and humbled to serve as president of this esteemed organization for the 2023-2024 term. I look forward to leading with great enthusiasm and I am proud to be entrusted with the position. This includes my commitment to continue the excellent work that has been achieved by my predecessors, building upon the strong foundation that has been laid. A special thanks to Bob Dunn, our outgoing president, for his leadership, mentorship, and dedication to the Post.
The opportunity to work with such a talented and dedicated group of professionals who share a common passion and commitment to the mission and values of SAME is inspiring. As we move forward, we will continue to provide our members with the resources and opportunities they need to enhance their skills, expand their networks, and achieve their professional goals. I also look forward to fostering greater collaboration among our members and with other organizations in our field. We will work together to promote the exchange of ideas and knowledge-sharing, and to build stronger partnerships that will benefit our industry as a whole.
One of my top priorities as president will be to promote collaboration and open communication within our membership. By working together and sharing our knowledge and experiences, we will achieve great things and make a real difference in the world. Another priority will be to encourage diversity and inclusivity. We come from different backgrounds and have different perspectives, and it is these differences that make us strong. By embracing diversity and inclusivity, we can foster a culture of innovation and creativity that will help us to tackle the challenges of the future.
As professionals in our respective fields, it is our responsibility to stay at the forefront of changes and challenges and to use our collective expertise to shape the future in a positive way. I am committed to working with each and every one of you to achieve this goal and I am confident that, together, we have the skills, expertise, and passion to tackle any obstacle and to continue to make a positive impact on industry and society. I encourage each of you to get involved, share your ideas and perspectives, and collaborate with each other to make a meaningful impact. Join a committee and be present – because we need you!
Once again, thank you for your trust in me, and I look forward to working with all of you to advance our shared goals and vision for this organization. Together, we can make a difference and achieve great things. Thank you.
