Greetings Boston Post Members and Friends!!

It is truly a privilege to serve as Post President for the 2022-2023 year and I look forward to moving us forward, not only serving our membership but also providing quality programming and expanding our exposure in our industry. My thanks go to outgoing President Pete Long for his hard work in keeping us focused while we continued in the virtual world and maneuvering us back into an in-person format.

We have made many changes over the last several years to our programs and the diversity of timely topics, and we will continue to meet the needs of our membership and industry colleagues. Your feedback is important to us. If you have suggestions on what you want to see in our programming, we want to hear from you. We have a great group of individuals who are ready to respond. But better still, get involved, make a difference, and be a part of the success.

Our Post is financially strong and we are growing our membership at a significant rate. In the last year, I am pleased to report that the Post has grown more than 10% and we continue to grow, which is outstanding considering the challenges of the last two years.

Finally, we are excited about some renewed efforts in establishing student chapters at schools in the region. Diedra Anderson, one of this year’s scholarship recipients, has been the driving force in the start-up of a student chapter at WPI. We are also exploring the prospect of a student chapter at MIT, based on our recent meeting with the AFROTC Detachment last December. We will also be meeting with UMass Lowell and the AFROTC group there as well.

So - the future is bright for the Boston Post! I invite you to be an active participant in the Post and look forward to serving you as President over the next year to build upon the many successes of the past.
